Bob and Dan Shaut both direct and perform in many jazz groups throughout the Hudson Valley. From the Shaut family trio (Shaut Three-O) to the 18 piece Hudson Valley Jazz Orchestra we have a band that will fit your jazz needs.

 

education

Dan and Bob co-direct the Hudson Valley Youth Jazz Orchestra. Dan created the Hudson Valley Jazz Invitational (festival for local high school jazz ensembles.) Either Shaut is available for private instruction, masterclasses and workshops. Bob has also composed and/or arranged numerous pieces for student jazz ensemble, saxophone quartet and more. His compositions range in levels accessible from middle school to professional groups.
